Kent's 60th Anniversary Party is Rescheduled Due to Rain

UPDATE 3/14/2024: The forecast has changed, once again, and it's gotten worse. Now, it appears we'll be dealing with rain for most of the day and evening, so we are forced to reschedule our celebration. The cake-cutting and poker run have both been moved to Saturday, March 23rd at the Grand American Launch Party. We are currently working to reschedule The Mullet Boyz for a future Party on the Patio this year.

UPDATE 3/13/24: Due to the potential for rain, we will reschedule the Poker Run for Saturday, March 23rd at the Grand American Launch Party. The cake-cutting and concert will go on as scheduled this Saturday.

This year, we celebrate our 60th Anniversary and we're throwing a party that includes a poker run and concert featuring The Mullet Boyz. 

Started on March 16th, 1964 by R. Kent Waddell, Kent's has been helping the Big Country (and beyond) experience the true freedom of riding motorcycles. Unfortunately, Kent is no longer with us but his spirit lives on in his family-owned dealership. Kent liked to throw parties, so we'll do our best to continue his legacy with a blowout that'll have everyone talking.

When is the 60th Anniversary Party?

The event will take place on Saturday, March 16th here at Kent's in Abilene. We'll start the day off with a poker run then will have a cake-cutting ceremony around 4:30pm followed Party on the Patio in the evening. The Mullet Boyz will make their triumphant return to Abilene to entertain the crowd. By the way, it's all-ages and free to the public. So, bring a lawn chair and a cooler of your favorite beverages. The live music will start around 6 on the outdoor stage.

Come hungry because we'll have 2 of our favorite food trucks here; Hearts BBQ and Happy Grill.
