Labor Day is this Monday and Harley-Davidson has created a way to ride your motorcycle and support our military at the same time. The Labor Day Weekend Riding Challenge runs from August 30th through September 2nd.
Ride 100 miles to earn the Labor Day Weekend Challenge digital coin. As a bonus, any points earned during the Labor Day Weekend Riding Challenge also count towards the H*A*N*X For Our Troops Riding Challenge.
This challenge lets you ride any route you like. Just for fun track your position on the leaderboard. Completion of this challenge will earn you a custom digital coin.
Like other popular GPS apps, Record Ride and GPS navigation will utilize your phone’s battery faster than other functions. We recommend plugging into your bike’s USB port if equipped. Accessory options are available at your local dealer.
How Does This Riding Challenge Work?
- Download the H-D App
- Join the Labor Day Weekend Riding Challenge
- Ride and track your miles in the app
- For every 20 miles tracked, Harley-Davidson will donate $1 to HANX For Our Troops and their military partners, up to $250,000
- Reach 100 miles and your achievement will be unlocked and you will receive a digital achievement/challenge coin in your H-D app.
- From August 30th – September 2nd use GPS Navigation or Record Ride in the app as you ride. Each time you ride, your miles will be added to your total mile count.
- Only a maximum of 1,550 miles can be awarded towards riding challenges within a 24-hour period.
- Miles will not count if you are in a car or other vehicle. If you are in a "cage" select car when you start Record Ride or GPS Navigation.
- Starts August 30th at 12:00 A.M. (ET) and ends September 2nd at 11:59 P.M. (ET).
As a matter of fact, we have a lunch run scheduled for Saturday and those miles will count towards this riding challenge. If you have questions, just stop by Kent's in Abilene; we'll be happy to help you.
